Castlemartyr Resort

Hey everyone I was down in Castlemartyr last week I stayed overnight. I love Castlemartyr I had been down there for a spa day recently it was brilliant couldn't fault it so we decided to go down and stay overnight. Sarah at the check in desk was so welcoming and checked us in right away. We had booked in for spa treatments and dinner that night. It was a lovely relaxing night away.

The Room

Walk in Shower

Bedroom View
The room was very spacious with twin beds with tea/coffee making facilities they also provided robes and slippers. The room had a flat screen tv and touch screen controls for lights and curtains. The bathrooms are very spacious and have separate rainforest shower, with a full bath and double vanity area and separate toilet.

The Bar

We had lunch at the Knights Bar which was a lovely relaxed atmosphere overlooking the stunning gardens our waiter Jack was brilliant he brought us out tasters of the soup it was celeriac soup which I never had tasted but it was lovely .We also ordered a cheese board which was delicious and non alcoholic mojitos were to die for I would go back there for them alone.

The Spa

As I said I love the Spa I couldn't fault it the girls are brilliant down there so friendly and welcoming. I always recommend the spa to friends they have some great offers down there. I got a well needed facial and back neck and shoulder massage with a lovely therapist called Yvonne. We relaxed after in the relaxation room with sweet treat of a smoothie, fruit and granola bar. There is Jet pool ,sauna, steam room you can also use.

The Bell Tower

The breakfast had a great selection of fruits, yogurts, pastries, juices and a cooked to order menu.

Overall it was a great night I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again for a treat I cant wait to try the afternoon tea soon.:)
