CastleMartyr Resort

Hey everyone Today I spent the day down at CastleMartyr Resort with my sister in law. We had got a deal on Dealrush.ie which was brilliant value. We were greeted by a lovely receptionist filled out our forms and shown around the decor was very modern and relaxing. We also had full use of the gym and leisure center but we decided we would have a relaxing day and stick with the spa. We also had use of the water lounge which had a sauna,steam room,the experience shower and a Jacuzzi. There was two relaxation rooms where you wait for your treatment a dark and light room the light had a bright sunshine shining in and dark was dim lit with candles. We choose the dark room as we felt it was a more relaxed setting refreshments were available flavored water and a selection of teas. The spa uses all Espa products. My therapists name was Elia she was so welcoming and friendly made me feel very at ease she talked me though the treatments and products she was going to use I got to smell and choose the scents I liked. The massage beds were heated and the room had soft playing music and dimmed lighting. My treatment started with a back,neck and shoulder massage which was badly needed as I hold a lot of tension in my shoulders. Then onto a foot ritual a re balancing and invigorating treatment.The Elia did a detailed skin analysis using a skin vision lamp to see what my skin needed while my face mask rejuvenated my skin I had a scalp massage and mask all the products were cleaned off with hot towels and moisturizer added to finish the treatment I didn't want it to end it was 80 minutes in total but it flew it was just what I needed I never felt so relaxed. I was then shown back to the relaxation rooms and given a little plate of nibble a shot of orange juice,granola bar and fruit kebab. We relaxed in here for a further 30 minutes after our treatments. I would highly recommend this and if you get the deal from Dealrush.ie you're getting a great bargain. There is lovelt gardens outside for a walk. We will definitely be returning. Mid Week Break at Hotel Kilkenny

Hey everyone If you follow me on snapchat you would of seen my snaps Tuesday at hotel Kilkenny. If your not on snapchat I'm going to fill you in here. If your looking for a break away I highly recommend this hotel the staff were very welcoming.We stayed for one night with a deal from Escapes.ie We upgraded to a deluxe room the Deal included a standard room with glass of Prosecco on arrival which they kindly changed for me as I don't drink alcohol also chocolates in our room with Breakfast in the morning. We also used the gym that morning greeted by a lovely staff member. The gym was very spacious with lots of equipment I didn't take any pictures of the gym as most of ye will know I never bring my phone into any gyms as respect for other gym members privacy and it usually only distracts me.Below are some pictures from the hotel.



The lobby had a very modern decor There were lots of funky styles of chairs throughout the hotel.

 We Ate in the bar I got the bbq chicken wings and the bar man kindly made me a non alcoholic mojito.

I loved the decor of the room it had lovely grey tones it was very spacious with a king size bed and lovely marbled furniture the TV was quite small.The bathroom and a bath/shower combo.The room offered tea/coffee making facilities and bottled water also robes and slippers Ironing board and Iron,safe. Room service was available.

Breakfast had a great selection of fruits, juices,cereals,pastries,muffins also offered a menu with hot breakfasts including full Irish,porridge,pancakes severed with tea/coffee.


We checked out and headed to Kilkenny castle.The staff were very helpful and informative admission was free on this day the castle was very interesting also had a cafe to grab a coffee & snack. Defiantly worth a look.
